(xvi), (326), (1) pp. Illustrated with color frontispiece and 39 color illustrations, all mounted and all with captioned tissue guards, and numerous in-text black and white illustrations. Publishers full vellum, decorated in gilt; top edge gilt, others edges untrimmed; illustrated endpapers; silk ties wanting (one laid in); residue from a now-removed book-plate on front paste-down; separation in gutter at pp. 64-65, 72-73, 120-121, and 168-169; Latimore and Haskell, p. 34; Riall, p. 97
A very fine copy of Rackham's signed limited edition of his Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tales, reprinted from Rackham's 1900 edition, enlarged and with some new illustrations, as well as others redrawn and colored.
