Publisher's light brown pictorial cloth, stamped in black, ochre, and gray-blue; all edges trimmed, fore- and bottom edges foxed, a few pages unopened; illustrated endpapers; some foxing to prelims, and near edges throughout; from the library of Richard Manney and with his book-plate on verso of front free endpaper, old bookseller's ticket mounted above same; in full gray goatskin slip case, stamped in blind and in gilt, with green morocco spine label, and cloth chemise;
