The rectangular top with hinged keyboard cover, the interior with oval enamel plaque inscribed, "By Royal Patent/ Longman & Broderip/ Musical Instrument Makers/ No. 26 Cheapside & No. 13 Haymarket/ London," flanked by inlaid floral and ribboned swags, the top section over a stand with lower shelf and square tapering legs ending in casters, interior bearing stamped numbers, "2483."
