Artist Biography

From 1992-2014, Thomas Madden was Professor, Crafts Department Chairman, and Section Head for Metalsmithing and Jewelry at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. He received his BFA from Kansas State University and his MFA from Bowling Green State University. In 2007 the artist was awarded the distinction of “Master Metalsmith 2007” by the National Ornamental Metals Museum, Memphis, Tennessee. His work is held in both private and public collections internationally.
