The Girard Avenue Meeting House was constructed at the NW corner of 17th Street and Girard Avenue in 1871 and served as the Girard Avenue Friends School from 1872-1924. After 1924, the building was used by a variety of charitable organizations and for occasional Quaker meetings and worship, the building was sold in 1939.
