Cherry, walnut
Note
This set is an early example of the form, first designed by Nakashima circa 1944-45. The chairs have figured cherry seats and crests, with walnut spindles, legs, and stretchers. This wood selection and pairing is unusual in later examples.
This lot is sold together with a disclaimer letter (letter of authenticity) from Mira Nakashima and George Nakashima Woodworkers.
