The cover depicting flowers inlaid with mother of pearl among autumn grasses, and calligraphy which may be translated as: “Who are they meeting on an autumn night?"; the interior decorated with plants and stylized landscape with sedan chair, all executed in hiramaki-e against the black roiro ground; fitted with an ink stone, underside signed Kin’ei Saku (made by Kin’ei), and a silver water dropper in the form of a full moon.
