Original purple cloth-covered boards, original paper spine labels fully intact, spines faded, boards unevenly faded; all edges trimmed; old ownership inscription in pencil on front free endpaper of second volume, inscription in ink in same; light foxing to title-page and scattered text in second volume; in cloth slip case and chemise.
