Amelia Turfler Rogers was the daughter of Amy Gray and George Frederick Turfler, a New York City tailor. According to the Turfler/ Rogers Genealogy, Amelia was married three times: First to Ezra Rogers (born 1783, Long Island), about 1805, second to Ezra Walton, a New York City builder, and thirdly to Curtis Rogers (Ezra's brother) about 1838. Her third marriage was preceeded by a prenuptual agreement in which Amelia retained title to her property. She lived in Kings, Ulster, Suffolk, Onondaga and Ontario counties of New York.
William H. Rogers, a product of Amelia's first marriage, is listed as an American born seaman at the port of New York in 1826. He had seven children. He lived for many years and is buried in Savannah, Georgia.
