A Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Charger circa 1720

Decorated with the arms of Boone, underside with double ring in underglaze blue with additional mark.

Dia: 17 in.

Note

This charger was made for Charles Boone, Governor of Bombay in 1716, who returned to England in 1720 and was later director the East India Company.
