With 43 polychrome-painted stars arranged in a double medallion pattern on a corn blue fine wool canton, machine-sewn fine wool stripes, wool heading, three sides with yellow fringe, mounted and framed.

A rare "Seven Day Flag" Idaho was admitted to the Union as the 43rd state on July 3, 1890, followed a week later by the admission of Wyoming as the 44th state, July 10, 1890. This flag is believed to have been presented to Idaho's governor.
