12 in. x 10 3/4 in. (board), H: 24 in. (height of board on stand)The naval Captains Isaac Hull (1773-1843) and Oliver Hazard Perry (1785-1819) became national heros during and the War of 1812. Hull served as Captain of the USS Constitution in the famous victory over HMS Guerriere in 1812. Perry was credited with the first significant American defeat of a British Squadron in The Battle of Lake Erie in 1813. Perry is also remembered for his famous quotes, "Don't Give up the Ship" and "We have met the enemy and they are ours"
