This desk and bookcase exhibit many of the distinctive patterns of construction and material found in documented Janvier family case pieces. The location and handwriting of the date on the base of this desk is the same as one signed, "John Janvier/May 16 1793" recently purchased by Historic Odessa Foundation. Consultant analysis is available upon request.
