The first pipe with carved pipestem decorated with eagle, turtle, moon and lizard; the second, with a banded pipe with carved and flattened pipestem; the third, with incised pipe and flattened, pierced and painted pipestem; the fourth, with large Catlinite pipe and quilled flattened pipestem; and the fifth, with a pipe incised with flowers and leaves on beaded pipestem.

The first pipe acquired 6/21/50 with the history, "John got it from End of the Cloud. Blackfoot Sioux-John carved the stem"; the second, from Jim All Yellow; the third acquired from Frances Many Horse, South Dakota, 3/19/50; and the Pawnee pipe purchased at the Gallup Ceremonies.
