H(s): 5 1/4 in. to 12 in. (with headdress)Provenance: The Luther R. and Frances T. Zehner Collection.
The first two dolls accompanied by note: "Mrs. Margaret Russell age 59 (maiden name Margaret Elk), Cannon Ball, male doll made by her June 1950, got other doll on 7/6/50"; one of the smaller pair accompanied by note: "Given to us by Margaret Archambault, Bobby's mother. Made by Mrs. Ramsey in Cannon Ball, September 15, 1950"; the other large pair, "Made by Mrs. Wire Spirit were to be sent to Washington D.C."
