The stepped cornice hung with spherules above frieze with eglomisé panel with ship and crossed quivers with arrows and horns above a mirror plate enclosed by carved and molded frame.
H: 46 in. W: 30 1/2 in.Provenance: Estate of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Wister, Oldwick, New Jersey.
Descended in the Wister family to William R. Wister. The mirror may have hung in the Wister family ancestral home, Grumblethorpe, in Germantown, Philadelphia, now a National Historic Landmark.
