.22 LR. 24" barrel length. SN: 17343. Parkerized metal finish. Walnut stock has a plain semi pistol grip and forearm with single barrel band. Bolt action rifle with Lyman No.48C adjustable peep rear sight and blade front sight. Item features a removable magazine, checkered buttplate, and leather sling. Barrel and receiver are drilled and tapped for telescopic sights. Markings include U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/M1922M1/CAL..22/17343 to receiver ring. Barrel is marked S A/{flaming bomb}/12-28 to top of barrel and LONG RIFLE/CART'GE ONLY to left side of barrel.
Good to very good. Bore is bright. Finish has light sprinkled pitting scattered overall. Wood stock has a few scattered scratches and a loss to right side face of butt. Leather sling has developed spotty white molding to some areas.
