.25-20 WCF. 24" octagonal barrel length. SN: 401838 (Mfg. ca.1907). Blued metal finish. Two piece walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm. Lever action rifle with a partial notch rear sight and damaged blade front sight. Item features a half tube magazine and crescent buttplate.
Fair. Bore is frosty, with some scattered pitting a few recesses to rifling. Finish is a mottled grey-brown overall, with pitting, scratching, and oxidation overall. There are finish losses around rear sight and to sharp edges. Frame has scratchy losses overall. Buttplate mostly bare of finish. Wood stock shows some wear to left side of butt, with scratching overall. There are losses to top of wood on right side of forearm. Wrist has a piece of tape over a cracked portion on left side, and tape residue toward front screw of upper tang. Action is functional.
