7.62x54mmR. 28" barrel length. SN: 2442 (Importer serial number). Blued military finish. Birch stock has a plain straight grip and forearm with hand grooves to both sides and double barrel bands. Bolt action rifle with adjustable tangent notch rear sight and globe post front sight. Item features an integrated 5-shot magazine, sling cuts, and cleaning rod. Barrel shank is marked with {Tula Arsenal}/1938 marks, various proofs, a boxed SA Finnish capture mark, and Cyrillic serial number. Receiver is marked with importer serial number 2442, and a diamond. Parts all have matching partial Cyrillic serial number 4565, and all markings except for import markings on barrel are highlighted in red, possibly chalk or nail polish.
Good. Bore is frosty and has pitting to rifling. Finish has scratching and thinned losses to exposed areas. Wood stock shows scattered losses, scratching, and mars overall.
