.32-20 WCF. 26" octagonal barrel length. SN: 209708B (Mfg. ca.1886). Blued metal finish and case hardened parts. Two piece oil finished stock has a plain straight grip and forearm with iron forend cap. Lever action rifle with adjustable buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an integrated rail dust cover and full tube magazine. Markings include Winchester manufacturer marks and patent dates to barrel, caliber designation to elevator, and model name to upper tang.
Good. Bore is dark. Finish has mostly turned to a mottled plum patina overall, with scattered scratches, pitting, and losses. Stock shows scattered scratches and mars overall, with darkened finish to commonly handled areas and some beading of finish to both butt and forearm. Action is functional but will need work, bolt gets stuck on hammer when lever action is cycled.
