A group comprised of the following:

14 tintypes ranging in size from 3 1/2 x 2 3/8 in. to 4 x 5 1/4 in., most approx. 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 in. Highlighted subjects include: Studio view of two hunters posed with Winchester rifles, one which appears to be an 1876, the other an 1873. Game, possibly rabbits, is piled in front of the men. -- Standing view of a man holding a cane, with a small sign at his feet, which reads "At Milwaukee Elks," and an "Elks" banner hanging in the background. -- Tintype of a young boy in traditional Scottish attire, complete with an axe and shield. -- Standing view of a man in a long fur coat, possibly a trapper. -- Studio portrait of a young child holding a shovel. -- Portrait of a young man interestingly posed, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, scarf, and coat. -- Tintype in paper sleeve/mount showing a mustachioed man, possibly a cowboy, wearing tall boots and holding a wide-brimmed hat in his lap. -- Outdoor tintype of a man tending to his horse, which appears to have a Mexican saddle (image a bit dark, some light creasing top plate). -- Outdoor tintype of people riding in a horse-drawn wagon, with what appears to be a dog near one of the back wheels (few surface nicks, few light creases to plate). -- Outdoor view of a horse and buggy (edge wear, several creases in plate). -- 4 x 5 3/8 in. outdoor tintype capturing a horse-drawn sleigh in the snow (scattered spotting, several creasing to plate). -- And 3 other tintypes.

[With:] 5 calling cards, 4 of which feature gem-sized tintypes, 3 of which are credited to F.A. Smith, photographer. The fifth calling card features a gem-sized albumen portrait (some toning, occasional soiling/spotting to cards).

Together, 19 items. Condition generally good, with occasional surface wear, some creasing, edge and corner wear to plates.
