Ninth plate daguerreotype of a young woman, her cheeks highlighted in pink, wearing a low-cut dress, with what appears to capture her nipple slipping out from the top strip of fabric, visible at the viewer's left. (Light tarnish to edges, otherwise very good clarity.) Housed in mother-of-pearl case with enamel porcelain inlay featuring a woman whispering something to a young man, not depicted in Berg (front cover of case fully separated at spine, loss to mother-of-pearl panel on back of case, wear to edges and spine). -- Sixth plate daguerreotype of a group of what appears to be a trio of female nude subjects posed together in a studio setting. (Image very faint, details difficult to discern, tarnish to plate.) Housed in half case (likely not original to image). -- 3 ambrotypes, including a sixth plate view of a painting depicting two female nude figures (housed in half case), and two (2) ninth plate scenes, one depicting a painting of a female nude subject, the other an image of a sculpture of a partially nude female subject (each housed in full case). -- 7 x 5 in. glass plate positive portrait of a female nude subject. -- 9 glass plate negatives showing erotic images and artwork, 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 in. (some with emulsion loss). -- 2 1/4 x 5 in. glass plate stereoscopic positive showing a male nude subject (few surface scratches to plate). -- 9 French, real photo postcards of clergymen engaging with provocatively dressed women (some toning, soiling). -- 16 modern postcards featuring nude or partially nude female subjects.
