Overall good and usable condition. Scattered signs of use such as light cutlery marks, as well as smudges and debris which need to be cleaned. There are some minor chips and a faint hairline crack to the teapot. No other significant damage noted. The service has likely been assembled from items acquired at different times, as there is variation among the makers marks and some nuances in the forms and decorations of the pieces. A small number of items are unmarked or were manufactured by Bing & Grondahl (a Royal Copenhagen subsidiary). A few of the items bearing Royal Copenhagen marks have incised cancellation marks, denoting factory seconds. The overall presentation is nonetheless cohesive and attractive.
