Smith & Wesson's Performance Center recreation of the US Model 1875 2nd Model Schofield Cavalry Revolver, with a frame mounted, rather than hammer mounted firing pin to add safety and reduce the possibility of an accidental discharge if dropped. The revolver features a recreation of the markings similar to those found on an original period Schofield revolver, including a script cartouche on the left grip and the "US" marking on the butt.
