Standard model mark to the inner frame reads MOD. 53 with further marks including four-line address to the right frame, Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark to the sideplate, and standard make and caliber marks on the barrel. Barrel rib is drilled and tapped 0.5" behind the front sight with a thread protecting screw installed. Comes in a matching blued cardboard box with a full set of six .22 LR conversion sleeves.
