** DWM P.08 Luger Made 1912 in Holster with Two WWII Magazines

9mm Para. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 9493. Blued metal finish overall with nitre blued and straw-colored small parts mounting checkered walnut grips. Short recoil operated striker action toggle locked autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Toggle link displays the DWM logo for Deutsche Waffen und Minitionsfabriken, the most prolific manufacturer of Luger pistols through the First World War. The top of the receiver/barrel extension is dated 1912, and numerous components show the last two digits of the serial number, typical of military Luger pistols. Serial numbers match on all components except for the toggle pin and the non-numbered sideplate. Further marks include 8,88 bore gauge reading beneath the barrel, and the {Reichsadler} on the breechblock and barrel extension/receiver. Three gothic letter inspection markings are struck into the right barrel extension/receiver. Comes with two magazines including one WWII vintage aluminum base plug magazines, and one marked SCHMEISSER/HAENEL with the number 93 struck into the base plug suggesting it was supplied as a replacement for the original wood baseplug magazines that were standard on World War I Luger pistols. Item additionally comes with with a reproduction brown leather holster.
