The chest appearing in overall fair condition. The veneer exhibits scattered age cracks and small sections of loss and lifting throughout the case. The top of the chest with more significant cracks and loss. The drawer fronts are in good condition, the oyster veneer is attractive and the color even. There are a few sections of loss to the trim along the bottom of the chest, not immediately noticeable. The sides of the case have a few age splits and some worming. The drawer pulls and escutcheons are replacements. The feet are stylistically correct for the period but are possibly later replacements. Additional images are available upon request.
