Appearing in overall good and ready to hang condition. The paint surface with scattered cracks and areas of flaking consistent with age. The proper left side of the barometer with some loss to the gilt decoration. There is a split in the wood on the proper left side below the dial, not appearing to impact stability. The molding which holds glass cover over the dial is somewhat warped resulting in a visible gap when viewed from the side. Barometer has not been tested for accuracy.
