presents nicely, with wonderful figuring to mahogany; with several repaired breaks and/or replaced elements to ears and scrolls commensurate with age, the reverse revealing some later braces to subject repairs; the inner gesso and gilded border with some rubbing and loss to gilding; some age cracks to back side; appears to retain original lower half of backboard, the upper backboard with different oxidation color, may be later; the glass plate is a replacement, although it does have some age, as revealed by some dark inclusions, confined mostly to bottom half and right-facing side
