repaired break to molding on upper left-facing side of hood; screw mend to interior of hood door; mended break to right-facing upper edge of hood corner near hinge; age split to upper right-facing side panel of hood; hood is presently pinned to backboard; old minor surface loss to front right-facing corner of hood; hinges to case door were repinned, with splits / repaired breaks to side panel at hinge attachment; backboard is drilled several times, and interior back with some red paint, including line to which weight should be wound to; possible fill near keyholes; brass finials appear to be period; some cracquelure to numerals commensurate with age; the mechanism has screw which has slightly pierced backboard; panel to case door has been secured in place by old nails wedged from interior; base molding to case probably replaced; accompanied by pendulum, weight, winding key, and two case keys- the keys do not function in hood door; as with all mechanical objects, Freeman's does not guarantee functionality for clocks
