refinished, but with a nice surface, the base retaining a darker patina than top; top with scattered dark stains and water rings, and some knicks, scuffs, and scrapes commensurate with age and honest use; one leaf is two board, the other leaf is three board, some age cracks along edge; some surface rubbing / wear to stretchers; drawer composed of rosehead nail construction; with some old insect damage to secondary wood runner to underside of top; hinges look good; with some age cracks to upper and lower terminals of some legs, but stable; with some small drilled holes to underside of one leaf- possibly indicating former bracing
