In overall fine and stable condition. Retaining a fairly even color and finish throughout, with traces of ages cracks to the veneer in areas. Few traces of a rich surface to recesses. Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Retains two weights, a case key, pendulum and three brass finials. Glass is replaced to the hood. Fretwork appears to be early, but could be an early replacement. Replaced pendulum. Works and case appear to be original to each other. Takes a wind, runs and chimes, though uncertain of the accuracy of the movement. Pendulum is replaced or restored. Rear foot blocks are replaced. Few minor areas of veneer replaced.
