In overall fine and stable condition. Retaining a fairly even patina and color throughout, though likely a later finish. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The lock mechanism appears to be original while lacking the lock clasp from the lid. The Rear 1” of the lid has been patched, likely due to the hinges breaking out. Hinges appear to be replaced. The lid having a crack that has been butterfly patched from the underside. The drawer action of the leftmost drawer is tight while the right drawer is smooth. Drawer bottom of the left most drawer is 3/4 replaced.
