A copy of the Partridge invoice is not available. The provenance was provided verbally. The table was previously offered at Christie's, 19 April 2023, New York, lot 449.
Appearing in overall fairly good, sturdy, and ready to place condition. The surface and sides of the table having fairly even sun-fading throughout. The surface having splits in the inlaid veneer. The legs missing small sections of the veneer and having a few small discolored areas of repair. The gilt mounts are in good condition. The tooled leather writing surface having very minor wear. There is a key and the side drawer is fitted with an inkwell. Additional images are available upon request.
