Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The underplate with a few small areas of wear to the glaze, likely from contact with the tureen. The underplate also having two chips to the rim and two firing cracks to the foot rim. The tureen itself with minor flake chips to the leaves of the eggplant, not immediately noticeable. The lid restored, with a small chip to the interior rim and a few areas of loss to the glaze. One section of possible touch-up to the glaze in the purple leaves. The restoration of the lid is not visible to the naked eye, but there is yellowing overspray on the inside of the lid and under UV light, it has a faint, matte fluorescence.
