The bookcase appearing in overall fairly good and sturdy condition. The front of the case with a small chip and area of loss to the gilt top edge. The shelves with moderate nicks, scuffs, and scrapes to the surface of the shelves and front edges. The outside column on the proper left side with some looseness to the gilt bronze base of the column; needing repair. The proper right side with a detached but present element of molding along the side of the case near the top.
The marble top appears in good condition, with negligible roughness to the edges. Additional images are available upon request.
