The bureau appearing in overall good, sturdy and ready to place condition. The case is highly polished and the veneers attractive. There is one small section of missing veneer at the bottom of the drop front writing surface. The front proper right leg having a missing section of veneer, not visible from the front. The back proper left leg also having a small section of missing veneer. The gilt mounts are all present and in good condition. The drawers stick slightly due to expansion and contraction of the wood. The top having a few minor splits in the veneer. The leather writing surface with a few scuffs and marks from use. With a key. Additional images are available upon request.
