The bureau bookcase appears in overall good, sturdy, and ready to place condition. The case having old scuffs, marks, and scrapes consistent with age, use, and moving. The top of the lower case having marks from past contact with humidity and glue repaired areas of the stringing inlay. The writing surface opens and closes smoothly and the leather is is fairly good condition. The interior drawers stick slightly as a result of the expansion and contraction of the case. The lower cabinet doors each with an age crack and one side with a missing section of molding. The lower drawers with scattered cracks, not appearing to impact stability. One of the glass doors in the upper section of the case with a crack near the bottom center. The molding where the doors meet has an old section of glue repair. There are three shelves and two keys; one for the upper case and one for the lower case. Additional images are available.
