A George II Walnut Chest of Drawers
Appearing in overall good and stable condition. Retaining a polished finish. The top of the chest exhibiting some sun fading as well as old marks, scuffs, and scrapes consistent with age use and moving. The drawer pulls are replacements and there are areas of visible fill to disguise the old holes. There are age cracks on either side of the case, on the back boards, and on the feet. The front of chest with a few cracks in the veneer and patched sections on the drawer fronts and surrounding molding. Additional images are available upon request. Restoration work completed in 1993 by Caledonian Incorporated
