A copy of the H.W. Keil invoice is not available. The provenance was provided verbally. The kast was previously offered at Christie's, 19 April 2023, New York, lot 429.

Overall intact and largely original condition. The drawer pulls, feet, and door spindles are likely later replacements. The lock and door latches are modern replacements. The cabinet doors have plugged holes where formerly a doorknob was placed. A later shelf added on the interior. One cabinet door is loose from its hinge and needs repair.
