The box having scattered areas of lost enamel, particularly seen in the green leaves of the enamel flowers and the blue border of some panels at the sides. The surface of the underside having evidence of hand hammering. The hinge and closure both work well. The box is slightly bent in areas causing the lid to fit snuggly.
