Frame: 13 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches.

Very faint, fine craquelure throughout. Possibly later varnish. Some frame abrasions (negligible) at edges. A small crack in the paint layer forming at the upper right corner; approximately 3/4 of an inch. A horizontal age crack through the bottom edge of the panel, stable, with a very thin amount of overpainting from an earlier repair. A small amount of possible overpainting to the right of the man's chin to cover a very small paint flake.
