A Pair of Rococo Style Giltwood Hanging Vitrines
containing vintage paste-gem necklaces.
Height 15 x width 24 inches.
The pair appearing in fairly good condition. Each having small instances of flaking and loss to the gilt decoration revealing the wood beneath. There are a few sections where the carved wood has broken off and is lost. The vitrines are hinged at the bottom, with hook and eye closures at the top. One of the vitrines with the door loose on the hinge and sitting slightly out of alignment not allowing for the secure closure of the vitrine; would benefit from repair prior to hanging.
