**Colt New Service Model 1909 Transition in .44-40 WCF
.44-40 WCF. 5.5" barrel length. SN: 324604. Blued metal finish. Grips are checkered hard rubber. Double action revolver with frame notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features a military lanyard swivel to butt and a fluted 6-shot swing out cylinder.
Very good. Bore and chambers are both bright. Finish has some sprinkled pit marks, including to one section of cylinder and two small clusters of pitting to right side of front sight blade. Grips are in good condition. Cylinder lockup is solid and timing appears to be good.
