A Belgian Pistol and US M1905 Bayonet

1.) 19th Century Belgian Side-by-Side Pistol - About .56 caliber. 8" barrels. SN: NSN. Bare finish to Damascus steel barrels and boxlock frame, with fluted and engraved brass grips. Tip up percussion side by side pistol with smooth bores, double triggers, square-back triggerguard, and lanyard ring to bottom of grip. Grip and frame are engraved with simple floral scroll. Bottom of barrel rib is marked NL, and left side of frame has a partial Belgian {crown}/N proof circa 1853-1877.

2.) U.S. M1905 Bayonet with M1910 Scabbard - 15" blade length. 22" overall with hilt and scabbard. Single edge spear point blade with 12" off-center fuller to both sides and a 5.5" false edge. Grips are walnut. Ricassos are marked S A/{flaming bomb}/1906 and US/17493 to opposite side. Item features an M1910 scabbard without any markings.

1.) Fair. Bores are dark. Finish has mostly worn away overall and has scattered oxidation overall. Bottom lever is loose and swings open freely. Only right side percussion hammer is functional.

2.) Fair to good. Blade shows scratching, pitting, and losses overall. Grip shows patina and wear to wood. Scabbard shows some fraying to cloth and scratches to leather tip.
