In fine overall condition. Minor surface wear and scratches to case, consistent with age. Reattached break to finial. Cap loose, due to one broken dowel; evidence of past glue reinforcement. Lower right corner of the case, below sliding scale, loose from trunk with evidence of a broken out nail.  Minor wear and damage to the lower carved section of the trunk. Lacking gimbal mount. Does not appear to be functional.
