Trunk in overall fine and stable condition. Areas of cracking to leather and age splits to wood. Moderate deposits of dust and grime present to recessed areas. Minor paint loss to black edge pieces, some of which has been filled. Interior leather with several areas of cracks and splits. 

Paintings appear to be on paper and are held under plexiglass by small nails and a wood frame. Not examined outside frames out of concern for stability of both paintings and trunk, but they appear stable, with light areas of spotting, surface soiling, and some edgewear/abrasions from the framing process.

The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair.
