Michel Haillard (b.1959) began his career working in advertising after studying at the l’École Supérieure des Arts Modernes, Paris. In the 1990s he turned his creative talents to designing furniture. Working with horns, antlers, skins, and hides, Haillard creates sculptural furniture. Employing an eclectic mix of exotic materials and traditional forms, Haillard brings together disparate materials in a quest to create a universe of his own making.
