The pair appearing in overall good and stable condition. The ebonized finish on the arms of both is rubbed, consistent with age and use. The caned seats of both examples are in very good condition as are the upholstered cushions. One example with visible glue repairs to the joints of the leg and seat rail on the front. The proper right side of the same chair with a possible repair to the top corner where the back meets the arm. The other example with a drip of black paint along the seat rail. The mirrored plaques on the back of each chair with oxidation to the silvering, consistent with age. Minor rubbing to the gilt decoration throughout.
