Fort Du Poet, Delaware, 1935. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. printed card with imprint "Colonel U.S. Grant, 3rd, Commanding 1st Engineers, Fort Du Pont, Delaware" (minimal spotting). Grant conveys President Grant’s check: "Here is a check signed by my Grandfather, President Grant, as requested by your letter of June 27, 1935."
